Synopsis:
Independence Day (also known by its promotional abbreviation ID4) is a 1996 science fiction film about a hostile alien invasion of Earth, focusing on a disparate group of individuals and families as they coincidentally converge in the Nevada desert and, along with the rest of the human population, participate in a last-chance retaliation on July 4 – the same date as the Independence Day holiday in the United States. It was directed by Roland Emmerich, who co-wrote the script with producer Dean Devlin.

This is Why I Watch This Movie
Because it's NOT Tom Cruise getting chased by crazy tripod robots or Mel Gibson discovering crop circles...it's WILL SMITH against Bad Ass aliens!!! I really enjoyed this movie, it's even better watching it the 10th time around!

The special effects were groundbreaking, I believe this is the only movie ever showing the destruction of a major city and the white house.

This is Why I Watch This Movie
I'm a sucker for Christmas movies so I could be little bias when I say this is a great movie. If you like Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, or any other Bill Murray movies, you'll love Scrooged. It's a little bit of a dark comedy but it's worth the watch!

Synopsis:
Casino is the story of Sam "Ace" Rothstein, a shrewd Jewish-American sports handicapper. As is often the case with those engaged in such activity, he is regularly harassed by local law enforcement, but is protected by the mob after proving himself as a top earner. Impressed with his work, Rothstein in 1973 is recruited by Midwest mob bosses to manage the new Tangiers Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The bosses have set up the casino to "skim" profits, and want someone in charge whom they can trust.

This is Why I Watch This Movie
This is one of the best mafia/gangster movies ever made! Action packed and filled with the "f" word (Fact: When released, Casino had the most uses of the word "fuck" (398) in a feature length film) it provides a pinch of comedy, a dash of toughness, with a handful of realism and you have the perfect recipe for a epic gangster movie. Trust me, whether you've seen it or not, you can't stop watching once you start!!
